Two ways to do it. Both erase the same things.
Harbor is a memory of your home, so deleting your account means Rosie forgets all of it. We do not keep a copy, and there is no recovery window. Read the table below before you start.
Harbor for iPhone or Android
Open My Spaces, then Delete my account. Confirm once. Everything below is erased immediately.
Harbor on the web
Open Preferences, then Delete my account. Confirm once.
If you have lost the device, cannot sign in, or have already removed the app, write to aniksshah1995@gmail.com from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. You do not need to explain why.
We confirm by reply, usually the same day, and complete the deletion within 30 days. If you write from an address we cannot match to an account, we will ask you one question to confirm it is yours rather than delete someone else's home by mistake.
| Data | When it goes |
|---|---|
| Every photo and clip you have shown Rosie | Immediately |
| Everything she remembered from them, including rooms, items and where they live | Immediately |
| Your conversations with Rosie, and any voice notes | Immediately |
| Your spaces, plans and saved preferences | Immediately |
| Your account record, email, name and sign-in link | Immediately |
| Your membership in any household, and any household you created | Immediately |
| Encrypted backups holding any of the above | Within 30 days, as backups roll over |
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Records of payments, refunds and invoices | Tax and accounting law requires us to keep these. They carry no photos, no items and nothing about your home. |
| Daily visit counts | These are one-way fingerprints that rotate every day and were never linked to your account, so there is nothing in them to connect to you. See the Privacy Policy. |
Deleting your account ends your access immediately. Whether it also stops the billing depends on where you bought it, so please read this part.
Cancel in the store before you delete, so you are not left chasing a charge for an account that no longer exists. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us, but write to us anyway if you get stuck and we will help you sort it out.
You do not have to delete everything to get rid of one thing. You can delete a single space, a single photo, or tell Rosie to forget the last ten minutes, all from inside the app. Write to aniksshah1995@gmail.com if you want something removed and cannot find where.
